Well, 2020 and 2021 were non-starters, so here’s a round-up of what we did in 2019 Watch this space for 2022 and better times!
Starting early; April 15th, a damp Spring evening on our favourite camp site. the young campers just love joining in!
The next “early”, was the Green Man festival, hosted by Grimspound Border Morris in Bovey Tracey on April 27th. The Council cancelled it, on account of a weather warning but…..
Still early in the season, we danced at this lovely old old pub, the Thatched Tavern, on St George’s day, with enthusiastic joiners-in
Early risers in the merry month of May, dancing at Dawn to welcome in Mayday on Haytor. Here we are with friends from Grimspound morris and members of the general public.
Later in May On the 26th, dancing and drinking at the annual Fete that funds and publicises the Shaldon Water Carnival, We’’d love to go to the Carnival itself, but we’re in Sidmouth that day!
Back on Haytor for the Summer Solstice, here we are, dancing with our friends from Harberton Navy, and drinking with them in he pub garden afterwards
Teignmouth Folk Festival June 22 Here we made a quiet street noisy with Old Town Twelves and Lodestone.Meny thanks to Jackman’s Toy Box, the shop that gave us FREE BEER!
July 16th, Babbacombe Clifftop a good venue with a good audience
June 27th Dancing at the ‘Steam Packet’, Totnes with Green Willow Clog We share some Dancers with them!
